SMS Terms

1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Globi Social, Inc. ("Globi," "we," "us," or "our") offers an SMS messaging program to provide you with account-related communications and, where you separately opt in, promotional messages.

Account-related messages may include:

  • Verification codes for account setup and login
  • Security alerts (e.g., unusual login attempts, password changes)
  • Account status updates

Promotional messages may include:

  • New feature announcements
  • Special offers and promotions
  • Community updates

2. CONSENT AND OPT-IN

By providing your phone number and checking the applicable consent box(es) during account registration, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from Globi.

Account-related messages (verification codes, security alerts) require your consent to the primary SMS checkbox. Promotional messages require your separate, additional consent via the promotional opt-in checkbox.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service. You may use Globi without providing a phone number.

3. MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies based on your consent selections:

  • Account messages (verification, security): Up to 6 messages per month
  • Promotional messages (features, offers): Up to 4 messages per month

Actual message frequency may vary depending on your account activity and interactions with the Service.

4. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Message and data rates may apply to any messages sent or received in connection with the Globi SMS program. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan and any applicable charges.

Globi is not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

5. OPT-OUT

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Globi at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us.

Upon receipt of your STOP request, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from Globi unless you re-enroll.

You may also remove your phone number from your account through the Globi app settings.

The Globi SMS program is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages based on your consent selections. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

8. PRIVACY

Your phone number and related information are handled in accordance with Globi's Privacy Policy.

Your phone number will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes, sold, or displayed on your public profile.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Your continued participation in the SMS program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We will notify you of material changes via SMS or through the Globi app.
